Here's a personal - professional situation I'd like to know your comments on.

A little while ago a first level supervisor was going away for a snowmobiling weekend. The supervisor came over to a newly hired subordinate employee and he extended an invite to him to join the supervisor for snowmobiling over the weekend.

The employee had already made other plans, and the conversation ended with a promise to join him on the next trip.
